Stir-fried Spicy Crab in Hoisin Sauce

Crab(s) 600 g / 克 [dried and cut into pieces]
Ginger (s) 4 slices
Garlic 2 tsp / 茶匙 [minced]
Green onion(s) 4 pcs [sectioned]
Chili 1 pcs [red, diced]
Hoisin Sauce 3 tbsp / 湯匙
Chili Bean Sauce 2 tbsp / 湯匙
Corn starch 1/2 cup / 杯 [for dusting]
Cooking wine 1 tbsp / 湯匙


Premium Oyster Sauce 2 tsp / 茶匙
Pure Sesame Oil 1 tsp / 茶匙
Water 4 tbsp / 湯匙
Corn starch 1/2 tsp / 茶匙

  1. Dust crabs with corn starch. Deep-fry in hot oil until golden yellow and done. Drain.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil. Saute ginger, garlic, chili and green onions. Add Hoisin Sauce and Chili Bean Sauce and fry until fragrant.
  3. Add crabs, sizzle wine. Stir in sauce mix and heat through.
