Deep-fried Fish Fillet with Orange Sauce

Fish fillet 600 g / 克 [cut into pieces]
Minced Garlic 1/2 tsp / 茶匙
Minced Ginger 1/2 tsp / 茶匙
Egg (s) 1 pcs [beaten]
Corn starch 1/2 cup / 杯


tsp / 茶匙
Custard powder 2 tsp / 茶匙
Pepper 1/2 tsp / 茶匙
Salt as desired
Rice wine as desired
Pure Sesame Oil 2 tsp / 茶匙
White Vinegar 2 tbsp / 湯匙
Orange juice 250 ml / 毫升
Sugar 4 tsp / 茶匙
Corn starch 2 tsp / 茶匙

  1. Marinate fish for 15 minutes.
  2. Dip fish into egg and dust each with corn starch.
  3. Deep-fry fish in hot oil until golden and done. Drain. Put on a serving plate.
  4. Saute  Minced Garlic and Minced Ginger in 1 tbsp oil.  Heat through sauce mix and pour over the fish to serve.
