Stuffed Spring Chicken in Oyster Sauce

Chicken 900 g / 克 [Spring chicken, 1pc]
Carrot & leek 25 g / 克sliced
Bean vermicelli/Bean threads 15 g / 克 [sectioned]
Fresh Shiitake mushroom(s) 3 pcs [sliced]


Premium Oyster Sauce 3 tbsp / 湯匙
Chicken Bouillon Powder 2 tsp / 茶匙
Water 500 ml / 毫升
Corn starch 1 tsp / 茶匙
Cooked Green Vegetables As desire

  1. Soak bean vermicelli in water until soft. Drain and mix with carrot, leek and shiitake mushrooms as filling.
  2. Stuff the spring chicken with the filling and secure the opening with a toothpick.
  3. Cook spring chicken in sauce mix for about 25 minutes or until done, turning once.
  4. Take out chicken. Chop into pieces and put the filling underneath. Surround chicken with cooked green vegetables and pour some sauce mix on top for serving.
