Steamed Bean Curd with Vegetarian Oyster Sauce

Bean curd puffs 300 g / 克 [2 pcs, cut into 5 slices]
Chinese mushroom(s) 4 pcs [soaked and cut into halves]
Green vegetables [for garnish]


Vegetarian Oyster Flavoured Sauce 1 tsp / 茶匙
Ginger juice 1/2 tsp / 茶匙
Corn starch 1/2 tsp / 茶匙
Sugar 1/4 tsp / 茶匙
Vegetarian Oyster Flavoured Sauce 2 tbsp / 湯匙
Water 50 ml / 毫升
Oil 1 tbsp / 湯匙
Corn starch 1/2 tsp / 茶匙

  1. Squeeze water out of Chinese mushrooms.  Mix mushrooms with marinade.
  2. Arrange bean curd and Chinese mushrooms alternately on plate.  Steam over high heat for 15 minutes.  Drain off excess water. Keep warm.
  3. Cook green vegetables in boiling water.  Arrange vegetables on both sides of bean curd.  Bring sauce mix to the boil and pour over bean curd.
