Fried Seafood on Winter Melon Ring

Winter melon(s) 900 g / 克 [1 big round piece, 4 cm width]
Crab-flavored stick(s) 4 pcs [diced]
Scallop (s) 4 pcs [diced]
Fresh Shiitake mushroom(s) 4 pcs [diced]
Green peas 2 heaped tbsp [defrosted]


Premium Oyster Sauce 2 tbsp / 湯匙
Stock after cooking winter melon 150 ml / 毫升
Corn starch 2 tsp / 茶匙
Pepper to taste
Chicken Bouillon Powder 3 tsp / 茶匙
Hot water 750 ml / 毫升

  1. Peel and remove the seeds from the center of the winter melon. Cook winter melon in stock for about 15 minutes until tender. Take out carefully to keep the shape. Put on a serving plate. Keep warm.
  2. Stir-fry crab-flavored sticks, scallops, shiitake mushrooms mushrooms and green peas in 1 tbsp oil. Stir in sauce mix, heat through and pour over winter melon ring.
